📲 Step 1: Install and Open Pocket Novel App

First, go to the Play Store and install the Pocket Novel or Pocket Writer app. Once installed, open it on your mobile.
If you’ve already registered, you can sign in directly. If not, I recommend checking my previous article on how to register on Pocket Novel using your mobile. (Find that article via the “i” button or video description.)

📕 Step 2: Create a New Novel

1. Tap the "Write" button on the main screen.

2. You'll see an option that says "Your Creation Has Started" – tap on “Get Started”.

3. Select the language. (Don’t worry if it defaults to Hindi; you can change it later.)

4. Tap on “Create New Novel”.

5. Now, enter a novel title of your choice.

6. Hit Create, and your story dashboard is ready.

✍️ Step 3: Start Writing Your Story

You’ll now be asked to enter:

• Chapter Title

• Main Story Content

If you're unsure what to write first, don't worry — we’ll use a smart trick using ChatGPT to format and edit your content.

💡 Step 4: Use ChatGPT to Format Your Story

Now here comes the game-changer!

If you've already written your story idea in rough form — great! You can copy it and paste it into ChatGPT and ask it to:

"Format this story for novel publishing with paragraph spacing, punctuation, and grammar corrections. Do not change original content."

📌 This process will:

• Make your story look professional

• Keep it plagiarism-free

• Save your time editing manually

Important: Your original content will remain yours — ChatGPT just formats, not rewrites.

✅ Step 5: Check for Plagiarism

Even if you wrote everything yourself, it’s good practice to check for any accidental plagiarism. Use any of the following free online tools:

1. Plagiarism Detector (plagiarismdetector.net)

2. Quetext (quetext.com)

3. Small SEO Tools (smallseotools.com/plagiarism-checker/)

4. Duplichecker (duplichecker.com)

Paste your formatted content and run the checker.
You should get: “100% Unique” – just like we did!

📥 Step 6: Paste Your Final Content in the App

Return to the Pocket Novel app. Now:

1. In your Chapter 1, paste the formatted story text.

2. Add a Chapter Title (you can reuse your ChatGPT suggestion).

3. Click Publish.

Your first chapter is now LIVE!

🎨 Step 7: Customize Novel Cover and Details

After publishing, you’ll be prompted to add:

• Cover Image

• Description

• Category & Sub-Genre

• Tags

• Novel Status (e.g., Running or Completed)

🔖 Some Tips:

• Use the app's AI Cover Generator — just type a prompt like “Fantasy village love story cover” and it’ll create one.

• Write your description in 2–3 sentences using ChatGPT like:
  “This is a fantasy novel that takes readers through magical lands, unexpected love, and mysterious battles.”

• Choose categories like: Drama, Romance, Mythology, Horror, Sci-fi — based on your story.

• Add relevant tags like “Bengali story”, “village life”, “romantic mystery”.

Hit Save, and now your novel is officially live!

➕ Step 8: Add More Chapters (Optional)

To expand your novel, just go to your project and:

• Tap “Add Chapter”

• Write a new chapter title

• Paste and format your new story content

• Publish

Repeat this process to make a full-length novel.
